Dachshund Amigurami

Hi everyone! I'm back with another crochet project! I love making amiguramis, they're one of the simplest things you can make and they're great for practicing how to increase & decrease. Recently I finished making a dachshund amigurami and I used this pattern: click me for pattern! (scroll down to "teckeltje SAM")





This pattern is in dutch and I used google to translate the page, but it did not translate all the crochet terms correctly so I decided to do that for you guys.


Things you'll need:
Cotton yarn of 30 grams
Black safety eyes 7mm (I used black pins)
Crochet hook B/2.5 mm (I used a D hook)
Filling
Felts for dots (optional)


Body:
Start with a magic ring
1. 6 sc in ring
2. 2 sc in each sc (total of 12 sc)
3. 1 sc in next st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (18 sc)
4. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2 sc in next st (24 sc)
5. 1 sc in each st (24 sc)
6. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (30 sc)
7. 1 sc in each st (30 sc)
8. 1 sc in next 4 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (36 sc)
9-11. 1 sc in each st (36 sc)
12. 1 sc in next 10 st, then 2tog, repeat (33 sc)
13-14. 1 sc in each st (33 sc)
15. 1 sc in next 9 st, then 2tog, repeat (30 sc)
16-17. 1 sc in each st (30 sc)
18. 1 sc in next 8 st, then 2tog, repeat (27 sc)
19-32. 1 sc in eacg st (27 sc)
33. 1 sc in next 7 st, then 2tog, repeat (24 sc)
FILL THE BODY
34. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2tog, repeat (18 sc)
35. 1 sc in next st, then 2tog, repeat (12 sc)
FILL THE BODY AGAIN
36. 2tog, repeat (6 sc)
Sew the body closed.

FACE
Start with a magic ring. (you're starting at the nose)
1. 6 sc in magic ring
2. 1 sc in next st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (9 sc)
3. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (12 sc)
4. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2tog, repeat (9 sc)
CHANGE COLOR
5. 1 sc in next 5 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (12 sc)
6. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (15 sc)
7. 1 sc in each st (15 sc)
8. 1 sc in next 4 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (18 sc)
9. 1 sc in each st (18 sc)
10. 1 sc in next 5 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (21 sc)
11. 1 sc in each st (21 sc)
12. 1 sc in next 6 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (24 sc)
13. 1 sc in each st (24 sc) 14. 1 sc in next 7 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (27 sc)
15. 1 sc in each st (27 sc)
16. 1 sc in next 8 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (30 sc)
17. 1 sc in each st (30 sc)
18. 1 sc in next 9 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (33 sc)
19-23. 1 sc in each st (33 sc)
Place the eyes between round 17 and 18 with 8 sc spacing
24. 1 sc in next 9 st, then 2tog, repeat (30 sc)
25. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2tog, repeat (24 sc)
FILL THE FACE UP
26. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2tog, repeat (18 sc)
27. 1 sc in next st, then 2tog, repeat (12 sc)
FILL THE FACE MORE
28. 2tog, repeat (6 sc)
Sew the face closed.

EAR (2X)
Start with a magic ring
1. 6 sc in ring
2. 2 sc in each sc (total of 12 sc)
3. 1 sc in next st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (18 sc)
4-6. 1 sc in next 18 st (18 sc)
7. 1 sc in next 4 st, then 2tog, repeat (15 sc)
8. 1 sc in each st (15 sc)
9. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2tog, repeat (12 sc)
10. 1 sc in next 12 st (12 sc)
11. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2tog, repeat (9 sc)
12-13. 1 sc in next 9 st (9 sc)
Fold the ears to your preference (I filled my ears slightly) & sew to head.

PAW (4X)
Start with a magic ring
1. 6 sc in ring
2. 2 sc in each sc (total of 12 sc)
3. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (15 sc)
4. 1 sc in next 15 st, back loops only (15 sc)
5-6. 1 sc in each st (15 sc)
7. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2tog, repeat (12 sc)
Fill the legs & sew to bottom of body.

TAIL
Start with a magic ring
1. 4 sc in ring
2. 1 sc in each st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (total of 6 sc)
3. 1 sc in each st (6 sc)
4. 1 sc in next 2 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (18 sc)
5. 1 sc in each st (8 sc)
6. 1 sc in next 3 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (10 sc)
7. 1 sc in each st (10 sc)
8. 1 sc in next 4 st, then 2 sc in next st, repeat (18 sc)
Fill the tail and sew it on body
